Sims Supportive Services, LLC. provides person-centered Mental Health Skill Building and Community Stabilization services in Richmond, VA. Our mission is to assist adults with mental, behavioral, and emotional difficulties towards self-sufficiency and stability in their lives, while ultimately reducing the likelihood of disruption to their homes and way of living.

Sims Supportive Services is dedicated to providing quality service for adults that need additional support. Sims Supportive Services' staff are licensed Qualified Mental Health Professionals that service individuals receiving Medicaid and identified as needing an individualized support plan to assist with Activities of Daily Living.

Mental Health Skill Building

Mental Health Skill-Building Services are services facilitated within the home which include intensive individual and family counseling, crisis intervention, medication management assistance, social skills development, conflict resolution, community resources, activities of daily living, functional skills improvement, and case management.

Community Stabilization

Community Stabilization provides individualized crisis services on an outpatient basis. Resources and natural support systems are mobilized during the crisis episode in an effort to avert unnecessary psychiatric hospitalization and assist the participant in remaining in the community.
